Universal Motors on West Bell Road in Universal City has been matching great cars with happy drivers for 19 years, and up until September 2010, as Universal Automobiles. Since opening in 1991 the dealership had been independently owned and operated by the same family, and the owner was on site nearly everyday. Still true today. Universal Motors’s Operating Partner, and owner, is here daily.


Longevity was one of Universal Motors’s hallmarks and its workforce of 100 employees exemplified that. “Several of our employees have been with the dealership since its inception”, said General Manager Jim Yerage. “That’s outstanding with the economy the way it is today, especially in this line of work.”
