We are dedicated Freightliner truck dealers providing quality new and used Sprinter vans, box, cab & chassis, day cab, heavy duty and commercial trucks, customize truck capabilities and services to make your experience with River States a good one. Founded in 1972 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, today River States Truck and Trailer is the premier truck and trailer dealer and service center in Western Wisconsin. Still family owned and operated under the reigns of Joseph Laux, who took over in 1993, River States has grown to employ more than 150 staff members at 3 full-service dealerships and 2 satellite locations.

We opened our Eau Claire, WI dealership in 1990, just off I-94. This full service dealership has been nominated and has won many awards for dealer service and support and was the recipient of Freightliner's 2005-2006 Trucks Dealer of the Year.

In 2001, we opened the doors at our new La Crosse dealership located directly off I-90. The La Crosse location is a full service dealership which features a full line heavy truck parts department, 15 service bays and the areas largest state-of-the-art truck body shop. The body shop recently underwent a $2 million expansion project and now houses 12 additional body shop bays, a 70' downdraft paint booth and a fully enclosed environmentally friendly 60' shotblast bay.

Our latest addition to the River States family was opened in 2009. Our Roberts Wisconsin location sits on 110 acres just south of I-94, Exit 10 and allows our customers to navigate away from the traffic congestion of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. The expansive lot provides ample room for customer truck and trailer parking and the extra large dealership features 24 truck and trailer service bays, a full line parts department and showroom, sales offices and a luxurious customer lounge and waiting area.

With over 39 years in the heavy duty truck industry, River States Truck and Trailer's knowledge and commitment to their customers has awarded them with many prestigious awards and nominations. It has taken us many years to build our present public image and we continue to grow and strive to make sure our business is operated on the principles in which we were founded.
